As a Farm Data Intern, you will gain critical experience in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports modern farm operations. This role is responsible for managing operational databases, supporting the inventory management system, and performing regular data entry ('feeding data') from field activities. You will also assist in maintaining the farm's monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system, ensuring data is accurate and available to help drive operational decision-making.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry ("data feeding") related to farm operations (e.g., planting, resource use, harvest).
- Assist in the daily management of the operational database, focusing on data quality and integrity.
- Support the maintenance of the digital inventory system, tracking the flow of farm inputs.
- Help compile data and key metrics for the farm's monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system.
- Learn to generate simple data summaries and reports from the database to support farm decisions.
- Collaborate with the field team to understand data collection workflows and ensure data accuracy.
- Active student or fresh graduate (S1/S2) majoring in Information Systems/Informatics Management/Agribusiness/Management / Operations Management/Statistics, or a related field.
- Understanding of basic data management principles and database concepts.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) is essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy for data entry.
- Highly organized and able to manage routine/repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with database software (e.g., SQL/Powe BI) or M&E systems is a strong plus.
- Committed to a 6 months project/internship program.
